Questions
Is this the real VICIdial?+
Yes. The open-source VICIdial with Asterisk 18 (the VICIdial build) and ConfBridge, on AlmaLinux 9. You get the normal VICIdial admin and agent screens — nothing is changed or locked.
How long does it really take?+
About 45 minutes from payment to logins on a server we make. Building Asterisk is the longest part. On your own server the install starts once our team approves it, usually the same day. You can follow every step in your portal.
Do I have to use your minutes?+
No. Bring any SIP carrier: add it yourself in VICIdial, or give us its details in the order and it is connected before you log in. Selected customers can also use the SignalXas route.
Can I use my own server?+
Yes — a fresh AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux 9 server with enough CPU and memory for your agents. You add our SSH key with one command (we never ask for a password). Our team checks the report and approves it before anything is installed; if we cannot approve it, you get your money back.
What does “risk-free” mean?+
You pay from your wallet when you order. Cancel before the install starts and the full amount goes back. If we cannot approve your own server, the full amount goes back. After that it is month to month — stop any time, no contract and no licence fees.
How do agents make calls?+
Today with a softphone such as Zoiper or MicroSIP — we create a phone login for every agent. The browser phone (WebRTC) is coming next for servers with SSL.
Is my data safe?+
It stays on your server. SIP (port 5060) only answers your carrier and office IPs, SSH is protected with fail2ban, and your login page gets HTTPS on a domain. The default VICIdial admin is switched off and every password is unique.
Who is responsible for the calls?+
You are: caller ID, consent and the rules where you call. We do not allow spoofing or calls without consent, and every IVR campaign gets a DNC digit by default.
